29th Annual Milford Regional Golf Classic Raises $250,000+
The annual golf classic if a crucial fundraiser, and had 176 golfers participate this year.

MILFORD, MA—The 29th Annual Milford Regional Golf Classic raised more than $250,000 to support Milford Regional Medical Center, the center announced.
The classic, held on Aug. 27 at the Franklin Country Club, had 176 golfers participating.
Proceeds from the event will "provide crucial funding in support of a complete renovation and modernization of the 4th floor, a space more than 50 years old. Multi-bed rooms will be converted to single-patient rooms affirming the Medical Center’s ongoing commitment to providing an environment conducive to healing, patient privacy and enhanced family accommodations. "

The Golf Classic continues to be a significant fundraiser in support of critical hospital services due to the overwhelming support of the community, committee member and those on Milford Regional’s Healthcare Foundation board, said the announcement.
