Downed Trees Cause Road Closures In Milford, Police Say

MILFORD, MA — A series of downed trees caused road closures in Milford on Friday afternoon.

Milford police alerted residents to the closures shortly after 12 p.m.

Police said that Pine Island Road is closed in the area of Daniel Drive and Tina Road. Purchase Street is also closed at Vicki Lane, Fountain Street, and School Street. Drivers are being detoured up Walnut St.

Police are urging residents to avoid those areas.
