16-Year-Old Killed At Large MA House Party, Three Adults Face Charges

Shooting broke out around 1 a.m. Sunday at a home along Howard Street in Northborough, authorities said.

BELLINGHAM, MA — A Bellingham teenager was shot and killed over the weekend at a house party in Northborough, and three adults have been arrested in connection to the killing.

Shooting broke out around 1 a.m. Sunday at a home along Howard Street, according to police. A party goer had contacted police just before the shooting to report someone brandishing a gun. Shooting broke out before police responded.

When Northborough and state police got to the home, they found the 16-year-old victim amid a crowd of about 300 people. The teenager was taken to UMass Memorial in Worcester, where he was pronounced dead.

A 17-year-old was also shot and wounded, and was taken to Marlborough Hospital for treatment, Worcester County DA Joseph Early Jr. said during a news conference Sunday.

The three people arrested at the party were set to be arraigned Monday at Westborough District Court.
