If Your Water Is Discolored Next Week In Milford, Here's Why
Don't fret if you have discolored water. Here's why and here's what you do.

MILFORD, MA—Don't drink it, but don't be alarmed.
On Wednesday, Jan. 17, at 10 p.m., there will be a fire flow test on the hydrants at the Brigham & Women’s Cancer Center on Prospect Street, according to an announcement from the Milford Water Department.
This is a required hydrant flow test because of construction, which may cause discolored water in the area. If you experience discolored water, run one cold water faucet, preferably from your kitchen, for 5–10 minutes. Try to refrain from using your hot water until the cold runs clean.
