3 Charged In Connection With Violent Assault, Robbery In Milford

A 21-year-old man told officers he had been assaulted and robbed by multiple people on Nov. 29, Milford police said.

MILFORD, MA — Three suspects were charged in connection with an assault and robbery incident from November of last year, according to the Milford Police Department.

Christian George, 26, and Mikayla Sousa, 24, of Milford, and Jaryn Platt, 36, of Worcester, were charged in connection with the violent assault.

On Nov. 29, officers responded to a fight near East Main and Middleton Streets on Nov. 29 and found a 21-year-old man with injuries to his face, who said he had been assaulted and robbed by multiple people, according to Milford police. MPD released footage of the incident, which can be found here.

Sousa, who was interviewed and arrested later that day, was charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon and assault and battery, while Platt, who turned himself in on Dec. 1, was accused of the same, police said.

George was later arrested on warrant charges on Dec. 26, police said. He was charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon (glass bottle), assault and battery, and armed robbery.
