Local Radio Station To Host Annual Toy Drive In Milford

MILFORD, MA — A local radio station is hosting a toy drive to support kids in need this holiday season.

Raydio announced its annual Holiday Toy Drive taking place the weekend after Thanksgiving, from Nov. 28 through Nov. 30. The drive will help to fill a Vendetti School Bus full of toys for a number of foundations, including The Santa Foundation, Santa's Porch, Toys for Kids & Teens and the Milford Youth Center.

Toys will be accepted outside the DoubleTree by Hilton hotel in Milford, starting at 10 a.m. on Friday through 5 p.m. on Sunday.

Raydio is also looking for "Shopping Spree Sponsors." With a $100 cash donation, the station said it will shop on your behalf.

“This event really captures what Raydio is all about,” said Ray Auger, owner and operator of Raydio. “It’s our way of giving back to the community that supports us all year long. Every toy, every donation — it all helps make the season a little brighter for local kids.”
