Milford K9 Helps Southbridge Police Locate Cocaine Stash

Milford police only recently acquired using K9s after more than a decade without them.

SOUTHBRIDGE, MA — A Milford police K9 helped Southbridge police over the weekend search a home and find close to five pounds of cocaine.

Milford K9 Kodak traveled to Southbridge to help execute a search warrant at an undisclosed address, according to the department. The dog found about two kilograms of cocaine during the search.

Milford police only recently began using K9 dogs again. The department got Kodak in late 2020, and he went into service around the beginning of 2021 — the first K9 in Milford in about 15 years up until that point.
