Milford Man Shouted Racial Slurs At Officer, Charged With Assault

MILFORD, MA - A Milford man was charged with a slew of offenses following a reported altercation over the weekend.

According to a news release from the Milford Police Department, Matthew Daniello, 28, of Milford was taken into custody by responding officers after a reported disturbance. The police said Daniello was intoxicated, and while he was taken to the station he became disorderly, "defacing the officer's vehicle and uttering racial slurs to an assisting officer," the news release read.

Milford was charged with assault and battery, defacing property, assault, strangulation or suffocation, disorderly conduct, disturbing the peace and assault and battery on a police officer.
