Milford MassBay Student Honored For Exceptional Academic Performance
Christopher Bryan Simmans was one of just seven MassBay students who graduated with a perfect grade-point average.

MILFORD, MA — MassBay Community College is recognizing students who graduated in May with extremely high grades, including one Milford resident.
Milford's Christopher Bryan Simmans was one of seven students in the entire class to graduate with a 4.0 GPA. He also won awards for having the highest GPA in the Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics Division, and won an award for his performance in MassBay's electrical and computer engineering program.
"Simmans came to MassBay to take advantage of the many transfer options to four-year colleges and the engineering program's alignment with his long-term goals," MassBay said in a news release. "He was drawn to electrical engineering due to his love for physics and math, finding satisfaction in solving electrical problems. Simmans credits his success to 'just doing the work and turning stuff in on time,' as well as effective time management. He is thankful for the support of his girlfriend during his time at MassBay. Simmans graduated with his Associate of Science degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering and will transfer to the University of Massachusetts Lowell to pursue his bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering."
