Milford Police: Car Struck Overnight; Loose Dog Sightings on Beaver Street

Monday, Oct. 20
At 8:13 a.m., Milford police responded to Howard Street on a report that a car was involved in an accident on the roadway.
At 9:26 a.m., a passerby on Rogers Street reported that the front door of a vacant house had been open.

At 9:36 a.m., a caller reported that while vacuuming, the power had gone out and she could smell the odor of smoke. The Milford Fire Department responded to investigate.
At 9:57 a.m., a caller reported that her vehicle had been struck overnight on Mark Drive.

At 10:52 a.m., police received a report that a car in the lot at Dana-Farber Brigham and Womens Cancer Center on Prospect Street had been leaking a fluid, potentially gasoline.
At 11:18 a.m., a caller reported a two-car accident in the area of Main and Spruce streets involving a red Ford Focus and a Honda CRV.
At 3:31 p.m., a young female resident called police to report that someone had taken a large amount of money from her parents.
At 4:13 p.m., a caller reported that two loose dogs had been running around in the Beaver Street area.
At 9:13 p.m. a caller requested a wellness check on an elderly man on West Street who the caller said frequently shuts his garage door and keeps a light on, but in this instance did not, as the light was off and the door had been open. Officers responded and spoke with the man and found him to be fine.
