Milford Police Found Bleeding Man Along Purchase Street, Still Investigating
The apparent stabbing early Monday led police to close a portion of Purchase Street.

MILFORD, MA — Milford police shut down Purchase Street early Monday morning after an "unknown emergency" that led police to discover a bleeding man.
Police began receiving 911 calls near 4 a.m. Monday. The man as lying along the road with a laceration. He was taken to UMass Memorial in Worcester for treatment, and remained there Monday night in serious but stable condition, police said.
Milford and state police are still investigating what happened to the victim.

After the incident, police closed the portion of Purchase Street between Glines Avenue and Mechanic Street, an area that is just north of Route 16/Main Street. The road reopend just before 10 a.m.
