Milford Police Seize $200K In Counterfeit Merch From Local Shoe Store
The owner of a Milford shoe store bought and sold counterfeit sneakers and clothes to its customers.
MILFORD, MA - The Milford Police Department announced Wednesday that they seized over 1,200 high-end counterfeit items totaling nearly $200,000 from a local shoe store.
According to the news release, Milford detectives discovered the owner of the Family Sneaker House was buying counterfeit sneakers and clothes from a Chinese distributed through wire transfers.
The Milford Police Department encourages any former customers of Family Sneakers House, located at 161 Main St., to come to the police with a receipt. The owner of the business is working to supply refunds for anyone who was defrauded.

"While this was not a traditional crime indicative of our community, it's important to realize these types of operations are not just taking billions away from these big corporations, but more importantly money out of the wallets of hard-working people," Milford Chief of Police Robert Tusino said.
