Milford Teen Charged With Gun Possession: MPD

MILFORD, MA - A Milford teenager was charged with several firearm-related offenses after police responded to a concerned report.

Kevin Batista, 18, of Milford was arrested following a call reporting three males, one female and a suspected firearm. The suspects fled the scene when officers arrived, and during their investigation the Milford Police Department found a Walther PPQ 9mm firearm and a high-capacity 9mm magazine containing full-jacket ammunition.

Batista was held on $7,500 bail and transported to the Worcester House of Corrections pending arraignment. He was charged with Possession of Ammunition without an FID Card and Possession of a Large Capacity Firearm without an FID Card.
