UPDATED: Two-Alarm Fire Under Investigation on Grove Street
The Milford Fire Department responded to the call just after 4 a.m.
The Milford Fire Department chief and lieutenant were on the scene of a two-alarm fire at 14 Grove St. for more than five hours this morning
According to scanner reports the fire department was called just after 4 a.m. for a report of heavy smoke showing from a two and a half story dwelling.
According to Lt. Mark Nelson, there were fires in the basement, on the first floor and on the second floor, although it is unclear how the fire spread throughout the four-family home.

No injuries were reported although at this time the house remains uninhabitable.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation, according to Nelson more information will be available on Monday.
