Teen Killed In Shooting At Northborough Party Identified
The Bellingham teenager was found wounded early Sunday morning at a large party, and died later at a hospital in Worcester.
BELLINGHAM, MA — The 16-year-old who was shot and killed over the weekend at a house party in Northborough has been identified as Ygor Correia.
Correia was one of at least two people hit when gunfire broke out at the party along Howard Street near 1 a.m. Sunday. Correia died at UMass Memorial in Worcester, according to authorities. A second 17-year-old victim shot in the buttocks was treated at Marlborough Hospital.
Northborough police were alerted about a person brandishing a gun at the party before shooting broke out, but the shots rang out before police got to the home.
