In honor of Polly Wakefield's 100th birthday in 2014, the Wakefield Estate is excited to offer a three-part propagation session for the homeowner. Polly Wakefield grew many of the trees in the formal gardens from seed or cuttings gathered during propagation classes offered at the Arnold Arboretum. This series of classes will focus on the signature trees of the Wakefield Estate collection, and provide instruction on how to follow Polly's example and begin their own tree collection.  The class is, Saturday, Oct. 5, 9 a.m., at the Wakefield Estate, 1465 Brush Hill Road, Milton.
