Children Learn 'The Joy of Family Music'
Old Colony Music Together hosted a demonstration class on Thursday, September 9 to show the high-energy, participation class to children and their parents.
Music Together, a childhood music program that started in 1987, is built on the idea that all children are musical. A handful of children and an adult got to experience the class firsthand on Thursday at Old Colony Music Together located inside the First Baptist Church at 330 Edge Hill Road.
The participation oriented class allows children from infants to five years old to interact with music, instruments and their parent or guardian. On Thursday, the 45-minute demonstration class was taught by Jennifer Grant.
The weekly 10-class session for the fall begins on Monday, September 13. Various classes are offered Monday through Saturday in Milton.
