Cullinane Draws Support From Milton Voters in Win
Just under 9 percent of registered voters in Precincts 1 and 2 voted.

In an election with very low voter turnout, one candidate still managed to receive the lion’s share of votes.
Democrat Dan Cullinane won Tuesday’s special election for the 12th Suffolk House of Representatives seat, and Milton’s numbers were reflective of the day’s draw for Cullinane.
In precinct 1, Cullinane received 101 votes and in precinct 2 he got 180. These numbers reflect 8.9 percent of the possible voting population over the two precincts. (Precincts 3 through 10 in Milton fall within the 7th Norfolk district and were therefore not included in Tuesday’s election).
