Forbes House Museum Announces New Tour Hours, Programs

Under the direction of a new Executive Director, the Forbes House Museum is offering three days of tours, beginning this fall.

Beginning today, September 15, the Forbes House Museum is opening its doors for tours on Wednesdays and Saturdays at 1, 2 and 3 p.m. Sunday tours will begin after Columbus Day, October 17.

According to newly appointed Executive Director Robin Tagliaferri, the new hours are part of a plan to make the museum more accessible to the public.

"We chose three days that were most convenient for visitors," said Tagliaferri via a press release. "We want to provide learning and enrichment to adults and families, making it easier for them to enjoy the interior of the museum and its collection. We want to begin a real dialogue with folks, so we have also been working to create new programs."
