Security found the gun and ammunition and contacted police, who arrested Darius Boodoosingh, 18, of Boston.It is against campus policy and state law to possess a gun on campus, and the student has been suspended."The engagement of our community members resulted in removing an individual from our community whose behavior we will not tolerate," a Curry College spokesman said. "We commend our students for communicating with Public Safety. Together, they took appropriate and aggressive actions to help ensure the safety of all members of our community, and we are grateful for their collective response and handling of this matter."Police also discovered drugs in Boodoosingh that he intended to sell. He was charged with carrying a firearm on school grounds, unlawful possession of a firearm, unlawful possession of ammunition, three counts of possession of Class B drugs with intent to distribute. He also faces single counts of possession of Class C, D, and E drugs with the intent to distribute.
