Milton Hospital Appoints New Primary Care Physician

Annemarie Armani, MD, joins staff of South Shore Internal Medicine.

Milton Hospital, a clinical affiliate of Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center providing community-based health care, is proud to announce the appointment of Annemarie Armani, MD, to its medical staff.  Dr. Armani joins MiltonHospital as a primary care physician working with the practice of South Shore Internal Medicine located at the Milton Hospital medical office building.

Dr. Armani graduated with honors from the University of Massachusetts Medical School, Worcester, Mass.  She completed a residency in Internal Medicine at New Hanover Regional Medical Center, Wilmington, N.C. 

Dr. Armani has multiple editorial credits that include serving as Managing Editor of Critical Pathways in Cardiology: A Journal of Evidence-Based Medicine and Executive Editor of a book series entitled, "Contemporary Cardiology." In addition, she has served as a faculty author for the National Lipids Association and the Association of Black Cardiologists.

 "I am thrilled to be joining the Milton Hospital team," said Dr. Armani. "I look forward to working with my patients and providing the most up-to-date and highest level of care."

Dr. Armani will offer a community education lecture at Milton Hospital on November 10 at 6:30 p.m. entitled "The Heart of a Woman", discussing diagnosis, screening and management of heart disease and stroke for women.  The program will be held in thehospital's Nangeroni Education Center.   To register, call 617-313-1588.
