Milton Police Have CVS Robbery Suspect In Custody

A white male allegedly robbed the CVS Pharmacy in Milton on Saturday, April 13.

A Massachusetts State Trooper stopped a car Sunday afternoon that fit the description of the getaway car in Saturday's robbery of the CVS in Milton.

According to a notice on the Milton Police Department's Facebook page, Milton police went to Dorchester and were able to identify the driver of the car as the suspect. The suspect is a 34-year-old Boston man who lives in Hyde Park.

The CVS robbery suspect is being held at the Milton Police Department on $25,000 cash bail and will be arraigned in Quincy District Court on Tuesday.

The Milton Police Department had released surveillance photos of a white man, who allegedly stole a large amount of narcotics from the CVS Pharmacy in East Milton around 4 p.m. on Saturday, April 13.

The man, pictured at right, fled the pharmacy with narcotics and got into a gray or white vehicle that was waiting outside. The vehicle, which police believe was driven by a woman, left the store, going northbound on Granite Avenue.
