The first day of school excitement was buzzing across Milton today, September 1, as students from the elementary level up to the high school returned to the halls for the first official day of school. Around the district students hiked, pedaled, hopped off buses or walked from cars, either operated by a parent or themselves, depending on the school, all to beat the first bell of the 2010 school year.
