Police Log: Boston Festival Prompts Noise Complaints
This is an excerpt from the Milton Police Log on Saturday, August 28 and Sunday August 29.

- At 3:20 a.m. Saturday, a caller from Herrick Drive reported loud music coming from Boston. Later, numerous calls were received reporting the same disturbance. The Boston Police Department was contacted and reported a large amount of house parties as a result of the Caribbean Festival.
- At 9:04 p.m. Saturday, a caller reported several youths possibly drinking alcohol in the wooded area around Riverside Avenue. An officer checked the area and reported the youths fled upon arrival. One vehicle was tagged for illegal parking.
- At 1:15 Sunday, a suspicious male was reported for taking "For Sale" signs from private property and placing them on other properties around Blue Hill Avenue. An officer reported the party was a realtor setting up an open house.
