Police Log: Fallen Tree Knocks Down Wires in Parking Lot

This is an excerpt from the Milton Police Log on Wednesday, August 25.

  • At 9:23 a.m. Wednesday, a caller reported a part of the road at Adams Street and St. Agatha Road appeared to be caving in. An officer reported DPW was on the scene and the area was secured with a barrel.
  • At 10:56 a.m. on Wednesday, a party walked into the station to report his diary had been stolen from a Highland Street residence. The party also reported he has been receiving pieces of it through the mail.
  • At 1:16 p.m. Wednesday, a caller reported a downed tree in a Brook Road parking lot. The responding officer reported the tree knocked down wires. NSTAR, Verizon and DPW were notified to respond.
  • At 8:21 p.m. Wednesday, a party walked into the station to report her unlocked vehicles on Brook Road were entered and rummaged through, sometime overnight on Tuesday, August 24. The party reported nothing missing and no damage. A patrol of the area was initiated.
