Police Log: Falling Tree Hits Cars, Missing Vehicle Located

This is an excerpt from the Milton Police Log on Wednesday, September 15.

  • At 1:32 p.m. Wednesday, a caller reported a tree fell and damaged two motor vehicles on Wharf Street. The owners and DPW were notified.
  • At 4:16 p.m. Wednesday, a caller on Hollis Street reported a Massachusetts registered vehicle has been parked in front of her house since last Friday, September 10. An officer reported the owner of the vehicle forgot where she parked it and it was listed as stolen. The owner was notified and it was cancelled out of  Leaps.
  • At 5:38 p.m. Wednesday, a caller reported vandalism at the Popes Pond bridge.
  • At 8:20 p.m. Wednesday, a caller reported a vehicle hit his vehicle at the Milton Public Library and fled toward Randolph Avenue. The caller reported no injuries but noted the subject's license plate number. Officers searched the area with negative results. Dennis Police were notified and reported that no one was home at the residence.
