Police Log: Hiker's Windows Smashed, Bike Stolen From Car Rack
This is an excerpt from the Milton Police Log on Labor Day Weekend, Friday, Sept. 3 to Monday, Sept. 6.

At 7:45 a.m. Friday, a caller from Cary Avenue reported her motor vehicle was broken into, sometime during the overnight hours. The responding officer reported several items missing from the vehicle.
At 6:55 a.m. Saturday, a caller reported a past larceny of a motorcycle from Eliot Street.
At 4:05 p.m. Saturday, a 911 caller reported both of her vehicle windows were smashed while she was hiking in the Blue Hills. State Police were notified to handle the situation.

At 5:17 p.m. Saturday, a 911 caller reported approximately three youths were spray-painting rocks at Cunningham Park. The responding officer reported she located the youths responsible and had them clean the tagged area. The rocks were restored to their original condition.
At 5:53 p.m. Saturday, a Pleasant Street resident walked into the station to report a past larceny of a bicycle. The bicycle, described as a black Diamondback, was taken off the bike rack on the victim's car between August 28 and 29.

At 7:34 p.m. Sunday, a caller reported several youths carrying beer entered the woods near Webster Road. Officers reported they located two small groups of youths. All alcohol was confiscated and destroyed.
At 10:26 a.m. Monday, a caller reported a possibly sick raccoon in a tree on Sias Lane making strange sounds. An officer reports the animal appears to be fine and has been moved.
