Sunday, January 12, 2014 At 11:42 a.m. a caller reported a syringe on the sidewalk in the area of Blue Hill Avenue and Lafayette Street. Fallon was notified to handle. At 11:56 a.m. a caller reported a tree had fallen on Governors Road. Verizon, NSTAR and the DPW were notified. A vehicle was damage in the incident. At 7:21 p.m. a third party caller reported there was a dispute between an adult male and a referee at a youth basketball game. The caller started the male told the referee he would "see him outside" after the game. Officers spoke to the man as he was leaving the area. He denied the altercation took place.
