Police Log: Screwdriver Used in Robbery

This is an excerpt from the Milton Police Log from Friday, July 30 to Sunday, August 1.

  • At 7:55 a.m. Friday, a resident of Highfield Circle reported an unknown party broke into her vehicle overnight and stole her laptop computer.
  • At 10:52 p.m. Friday, a resident of West Side Road called because he believed there was an injured skunk in his yard. The responding officer reported the rear yard was sprayed and he was unable to enter the area. The officer advised the party to contact animal control in the morning.
  • At 7:12 p.m. Saturday, a caller reported an employee at Milton Gas was robbed by means of a screwdriver approximately an hour earlier. The responding officers reported the suspect was a Caucasian male, approximately 20 years old, wearing a khaki colored baseball cap, a dark colored t-shirt and gray sweatpants with the number 76 on the front hip. The suspect was seen fleeing the scene in a red, single-cab pickup truck with a silver or white toolbox in the rear cab.
