Police Log: Two Breaking and Entering Incidents Reported

This is an excerpt from the Milton Police Log on Friday, August 20 to Sunday, August 22.

  • At 4:40 p.m. Friday, a Herrick Drive resident reported a past breaking and entering into the home. The break is believed to have occurred between July 31 and August 2. An assortment of power tools were reported missing.
  • At 8:35 p.m. Friday, a caller reported youths were speeding down Riverside Avenue and verbally harassing neighbors. The responding officer located two vehicles that were cited for parking violations. The youths could not be located.
  • At 9:06 p.m. Friday, a caller on Belvoir Road reported a past breaking and entering into his home. The incident is believed to have occurred on Friday between 9:30 a.m. and 8 p.m. There were no signs of forced entry, but at the time of the call a laptop computer and iPod Touch were missing.
  • At 7:15 pm. Friday, a caller reported youths were driving around in a black VW near Cunningham Park and breaking glass bottles. Parents were spoken to and were aware of the situation.
  • At 6:45 p.m. Saturday, a Lafayette Street resident reported an abandon Blue Mongoose bicycle in front of his home. An officer retrieved the bicycle and placed it in the shed.
  • At 10:40 a.m. Sunday, multiple 911 calls were received concerning a motor vehicle accident involving a bicyclist at Cheever Street and Blue Hill Avenue. The responding officer reported no injuries.
