Police Log: Weather Causes Down Limbs
This is an excerpt from the Milton Police Log on Monday, August 23.
- At 5:52 a.m. Monday, a caller reported a tree had fallon across Brush Hill Road on the 1200 block. The operator of a Massachusetts registered vehicle struck the tree, causing minor damage to the vehicle. Fallons were cleared with patient refusal and the operator was able to drive away from the scene. NSTAR and DPW were notified for removal of the tree.
- At 8:12 a.m. Monday, a caller on Lyman Road reported a suspicious white truck bringing yellow tanks into the woods. An Officer reported the truck operators work for National Grid and were bringing fuel to the work site for equipment.
- At 4:55 p.m. Monday, numerous residents from the Crown Street and Decker Street neighborhood reported power outages. NSTAR was notified.
- At 5:01 p.m. Monday, a caller reported a tree limb fell and took down some wires at 184 Pleasant St. NSTAR and DPW were notified.
