Milton Police say house breaks were way down in October. According to a <a href="https://www.facebook.com/permalink.php?story_fbid=720200697994597&amp;id=146130125401660" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">post</a> on the department's Facebook page, there were five reported break-ins in October as compared to 13 in September, which reflects a 61 percent drop. The department credits vigilant citizens with the drop. "Much of this success is a direct result of Milton citizens making an effort to protect their neighborhoods and call MPD right away when they see an issue that appears out of the ordinary," the post says.
