The Week Ahead

Every Monday, Milton Patch will give you a rundown of what to expect in the week ahead. You'll find scheduled meetings and noteworthy events and maybe even where you'll find me this week.

With Monday, September 6 being Labor Day, there are a few important things going on today. The holiday means public buildings like the post office, Town Hall and Milton Public Library will all be closed today.

Local businesses will be affected based on the owner's preference. The MBTA buses and subways will operate on a Sunday schedule, today. 

The Town of Milton Building will be relatively quiet this week. The Historical Commission will meet on Thursday at 5 p.m. The Planning Board will follow them with a 6:30 p.m. meeting.

Friday, September 10, will mark the final day of summer hours at Town Hall. The building was operating on half-day Fridays throughout the summer months.
