Two Things to Do in Milton This Weekend
Spend the weekend close to home with these two activities.
Editor's Note: Every Friday Milton Patch will be giving you at least two can't miss events in town over the weekend.
This week, take advantage of the last chance at the Cunningham Pool or take a trip to the museum.
For all the Milton residents who have been dodging the summer heat with daily dips at the Cunningham Pool, this weekend marks the end of a good summer. The pool will be shutting its doors for the season on Sunday at 4:45 p.m. Until they lock the gates, those with passes can enjoy the water on Friday from 9 to 11:45 a.m., 1:30 to 4:45 p.m. and 6 to 7:45 p.m. On Saturday, the pool will be open from 9 to 11:45 a.m., 1:30 to 4:45 p.m. And the last hoorah will be 1:30 to 4:45 p.m. on Sunday.

To peruse an art collection that includes fine art, limited prints, sculpture, photography and Asian art, this weekend visit the Milton Art Museum. If you've never been there, the name may be confusing, as the museum is actually located across the Canton line at Massasoit Community College, 900 Randolph St. The free museum is open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday and 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., Saturday.
