Very Low Special Election Turnout In Milton Through Morning

Though much of Milton may not be aware of it, there is an election today.

Only 48 voters turned out through the morning hours in precinct 2, a precinct with a population of 1,900 and typically a high election-day turnout.

Three candidates vie for the 12th Suffolk district House of Representatives seat, which was recently vacated.

Only precincts 1 and 2 in Milton are within the bounds if the 12th Suffolk district.
