
Happy Holidays from Milton Patch. With Christmas on Saturday, there was plenty of seasonal stories this week as well as other winter and end of the year happenings around Milton.
We'll begin with the two appearances of Santa Claus on Milton Patch this week. Jolly Old St. Nicholas made his first appearance on Monday after a weekend event at Ulin Rink. with the Milton High boys hockey team for a fundraiser.
On Friday, we unveiled Santa's answers to our young readers questions. The featured a question from one Milton resident as well as a variety of Patch readers from around the state.

Early in the week, Milton sustained it's first snow accumulation of the winter. We captured some of the falling snow at various Milton landmarks as well as the reaction of the Milton High School students.
Our white Christmas wasn't the only thing happening this week. We started our series of the Milton Public Schools Teachers of the Year this week. , a Milton High School music teacher, was our first of four educators to be recognized with the honor. Damiani has built a great reputation as a hard-working and dedicated teacher both in the classroom and in her various extracurricular activities.

Milton volunteers for were also featured this week. The program, which runs out of the Unquity House, provides hand-delivered meals to Milton residents on a daily basis. The volunteers shared the benefit the human interaction that comes from the deliveries.
