What Should We Ask the Candidates for Milton Town Office?
A representative from Milton Patch will be asking questions of the candidates at Tuesday's Milton Speaks Candidates Night.

Candidates in contested races have been invited to the annual Milton Speaks Candidates Night, which will be broadcast on Milton Access Television, on Tuesday, March 26. Milton Patch will once again be part of the panel asking the candidate's questions.
Selectman, School Committee and Planning Board are all contested races this year.
Robert Sweeney is running for re-election for the first time as a member of the Milton Board of Selectmen. He will be challenged by former Warrant Committee member Kathleen Conlon.

There are three candidates for two positions on the School Committee. Rebecca Padera, who took the seat vacated by Denis Keohane when he was elected to the Board of Selectmen last spring, will run for a full three-year term. Robert Hiss and are the other two candidates seeking election.
Alexander Whiteside will be challenged in April for his seat on the Planning Board by Todd Hamilton.

Katherine Shea will be challenged by former School Committee member Christopher Huban for a seat on the Housing Authority.
Robert Mason is also running for re-election as a Milton Cemetery Trustee. He will be opposed by James Stroud.
There are also seven candidates running for four constable positions. The four incumbents include Tamara Berton, Stephen Freeman, Justin O'Shea and Edward Villard. Eric Issner, Robert Mason and Gary Nunley will also appear on the ballot.
The Candidates Night will air on MATV at 7 p.m. Tuesday and several times prior to the election.
