Kelly's Roast Beef Eyes Big Changes

The company tells Patch it has purchased a food truck, and that it's checking out a major new location.

NATICK, MA — When its lease agreement for its Natick location came up recently, Kelly's Roast Beef decided not to renew. Instead, Kelly's set its eyes on a new sort of expansion.

After 20 years located inside Jordan's Furniture in Natick, the landmark is now closed, shuttering its doors on Jan. 28. Now a company executive tells Patch that Kelly's has bought a food truck and is eyeing a location in Logan Airport.

"Jordan’s has been a great landlord for 20 years, but we decided it was time to move on," Dan Doherty, Kelly's VP and director of operations, told Patch. "We have looked at other sites in the area but just couldn’t find what we would consider good for our business. We are currently in talks to put a location at Logan Airport. We also recently purchased a food truck. We truly enjoyed the 20 years in the MetroWest area."
