Natick Center Station Pedestrian Bridge Closed For Construction
The closure is part of the ongoing project at Natick's MBTA station, and the bridge will be closed until a replacement is built.

NATICK, MA — The ongoing renovation and construction project at the Natick Center MBTA station is making progress, which means another closure is upon riders.
MBTA officials announced that, due to construction and demolition activities, the pedestrian bridge is closed. The bridge will remain closed until another is rebuilt, officials said.
This comes after the entrances to the station were changed for the same construction project.

The Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority said the entrances to Natick Center station will be relocated to Washington Street for access to inbound and outbound platforms through the end of 2023.
This adjustment will allow for work on the new accessible platforms, officials said.

The $36 million project will feature two new elevators, two accessible ramps and six stairways, all aimed at bettering accessibility and rider experience at one of the MBTA's busiest commuter stations.
Officials are aiming for 2024 to complete the project fully.
