Natick Commuter Rail Schedule Altered For Improvement Projects

A number of mid-day trains will be temporarily eliminated as officials work to complete various improvement projects.

NATICK, MA — Service on the Framingham/Worcester line is set to change starting Monday as the MBTA institutes its summer modified schedule.

That schedule is set to go into effect starting Monday, which will implement lighter mid-day train service to allow for work on several projects.

These projects into rail replacement between Framingham and Worcester, a high-level platform project at Natick Center and Worcester's Union Station improvement project, MBTA officials said.

This schedule change won't impact commuters' morning or evening trains, just those typically running during the afternoon.
