Natick Pedestrian Bridge, Section Of Cochituate Rail Trail Closed
The abrupt closure comes after a recent bridge inspection. MassDOT officials said this won't be a quick fix.
NATICK, MA — A bridge over the Cochituate Rail Trail was immediately closed over the weekend with no reopening date in site.
Natick officials shared that the Loker Street Pedestrian Bridge and the portion of the rail trail below were closed abruptly by the Massachusetts Department of Transportation.
The organization said the closure is a result of "findings from a recent bridge inspection that have required the closure of the pedestrian bridge and a segment of the rail trail between Bacon Street and Fisher Street."
