NC Woman Charged With OUI After Natick Crash
NATICK, MAβA North Carolina woman is facing drunk driving charges after allegedly causing a crash in Natick.
At 2:39 p.m. on May 31, police spotted a gray Mercedes at the intersection of West Central Street and Watson Street that didn't yield to eastbound traffic on West Central Street, then existed on the northbound lane of Watson, drove across the eastbound lane of West Central and then was hit by a car driving eastbound that was unable to stop in time.
Margaret E. Monahan-Pashel, 59, Sage Drive, Greensboro, NC, was sitting in the driver's seat of the Mercedes, and during interactions with police described herself as "drunk" many times, said police. She failed all three sobriety tests, blew a .284 on the Breathalyzer, was unsteady on her feet, had red glassy eyes and had a significant odor of alcohol coming from her breath.
