Road Closed For Natick Center Station Construction

A section of North Avenue will be closed at night through the end of this week as construction activities at the station continue.

The $40 million project, when it's completed, will feature two new elevators, two accessible ramps and six stairways, all aimed at bettering accessibility and rider experience at one of the MBTA's busiest commuter stations.

NATICK, MA — The anticipated completion date of the Natick Center Station improvement project is coming up this winter, but residents still have a few inconveniences to work around first.

Through Sept. 13, North Avenue between Route 27 and Washington Street will be closed to vehicle traffic from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m., police officials announced.

The closure "is necessary for safety during night construction activities," police added.
