That Super Cool Valentine's Day Dessert at Pantry Just Got Added to the Regular Menu
After the restaurant's limited-time only dessert went viral, they had to keep it around.

Picture this: Your waiter brings over what looks like a solid ball of chocolate that could easily feed a family of four. Then he picks up a small pitcher of hot, buttered chocolate sauce and starts slowly pouring it over the ball. In less than a minute, the outer shell of the chocolate collapses and reveals a molten chocolate cake topped with vanilla-bean ice cream and a strawberry inside.
But maybe you don’t need to picture it. Maybe you are one of the more than 100,000 people who watch a video of this awesome dessert that Pantry chef Alastair Mclean dreamed up for the Natick restaurant’s Valentine’s Day special.

Luckily for Natick residents, Pantry has decided to keep this special dessert – dubbed The Chocolate Sphere – on the menu.
But Chef Mclean told Boston Magazine that he’d only be making 20 Chocolate Spheres each night and that he expects they would sell out before diners pull out their chairs. Pantry recommends requesting the dessert when you make a reservation if you want to experience the magic of a Chocolate Sphere first-hand.
