A Sneak Peek at the New Menu for Sycamore in Newton Centre

The new restaurant, launched by David Punch of Ten Tables, is set to open sometime next month.

is not set to open until sometime next month, the chef and owners have sent out a sneak peek of the restaurant's new menus.

In an email sent earlier this month to mailing list subscribers, the folks at Sycamore offered up details on the upcoming offerings for dinner, wine, beer and cocktails.

One disclaimer: the menu items are "subject to change upon market availability," the email said.

Ten Tables owner David Punch and partner Shane Smyth are behind the new restaurant venture at 755 Beacon St. The two announced over the summer their plans to open the new eatery, which is located in the former John Dewar & Co. space.

According to the Sycamore Facebook page, local foodies can expect the restaurant to open in early December. 

In addition to the Facebook page, the owners have also set up a Twitter feed for the restaurant and have started previewing photos from inside the new restaurant. 

The Sycamore website lists the restaurant's hours as Sunday - Thursday, 5 p.m. - 10 p.m.; Friday & Saturday, 5 p.m. - 10:30 p.m.; cocktails and small bites served until midnight. 

John Dewar & Co. -- well known for its meats, cheeses and specialty products -- announced in January of this year that it was consolidating its Newton operations to its Wellesley store.
