Everyone has a story worth telling. In this supportive writer’s workshop, you are invited to reflect on life experiences and bring memories to the page. Whether you’re writing for family, future generations, or personal fulfillment, this memoir workshop will help you shape your stories with clarity, creativity, and heart. With prompts, group discussions, and gentle feedback, participants will explore key moments from their lives, childhood memories, career milestones, relationships, challenges, and triumphs. No prior writing experience is necessary, just a willingness to share and reflect. All are welcome. Class geared towards adults. Questions: adultprog@jccgb.org.
Class taught by Marianne Marks, who facilitates writing workshops for adults because the writing process has integrity, leads to rich conversations, and naturally builds a sense of community.
Session runs: January 9-February 6.
