Everyone has a story worth telling. In this supportive writer’s workshop, you are invited to reflect on life experiences and bring memories to the page. Whether you’re writing for family, future generations, or personal fulfillment, this memoir workshop will help you shape your stories with clarity, creativity, and heart. With prompts, group discussions, and gentle feedback, participants will explore key moments from their lives, childhood memories, career milestones, relationships, challenges, and triumphs. No prior writing experience is necessary, just a willingness to share and reflect. All are welcome. Class geared towards adults. This class is ideal for new players and those seeking a refresher, and desire to go at a slow, relaxed pace. You'll learn essential fundamentals, strategies, and tactics that bring the game to life. You’ll discover the many surprising benefits of chess that go beyond the board. As an added bonus, we’ll periodically discuss fascinating insights into chess history, fun pop culture references, and current events that tie into the world of chess. Open to all. Geared towards adults.
