Bitter cold is heading our way with temperatures forecast to dip into the single digits overnight. Anything that melted during today’s sunshine will freeze and cause black ice. Be careful if you need to be on the roads driving and watch your step.

Please be patient as the cleanup will continue for a few more days. Our crews have been working since just after midnight on Friday. They will continue to clear roads, sidewalks, intersections and crosswalks.

Please use the City’s online 311 system to report any issues. Report an issue here or download the Newton 311 app to your smartphone.
