NEWTON, MA — Firefighters are working to put out a fire at a Prospect Street home this morning, according to Lt. Michael Biancci of the Newton Fire Department. It appears the fire started on the third floor porch of the building. The three story, three family home was built in 1880, according to city data. It was last accessed as being worth $838,800. It's unclear if anyone was home at the time of the fire.
