House Collapses In Newton

Newton fire officials said a home under construction collapsed Wednesday.

NEWTON, MA — A house under construction in Newton Upper Falls collapsed unexpectedly Wednesday, according to fire officials.

No one was injured.

Someone called 911 just after 1 p.m. to report the collapse. Power was cut to the building and the gas company was notified, officials said.
